Nancy Brigham Cyr joined EdLabs after a long career in Finance and Administration at Harvard and MIT. Most recently, she served as the Budget Director of Harvard University Health Services and as the Department Administrator of the W.E.B. Du Bois Institute for African and African American Research. Earlier, Nancy interrupted her career for seven years to be at home with her two daughters. During that time she designed and implemented a Waldorf-inspired after-school program for urban children in grades K-4 and developed and taught an art curriculum for grades 5-8. She has yet to meet a form of handwork that doesn’t appeal to her. Nancy attended Wheaton College (MA) where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English. She lives in Cambridge, sometimes sharing her home with her peripatetic daughters.
